ABOUT THE ROLE

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for the safe retrieval and distribution of quarry parts, tools, and supplies necessary for optimal and efficient productivity at the Three River Quarry (TRQ) location.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Retrieve critical parts, tires, batteries and tools from various locations outside of TRQ; delivering them to the location in need in a timely fashion.

  • Primary point of contact for scheduling appointments required for preserving optimal operating conditions and compliance of TRQ on road vehicles.

  • Unload, receive, and put away incoming spare parts; check for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.

  • Accurately sort, label, move and store items according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product codes; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.

  • Issues parts to site employees; documents and maintains accurate records for issued and returned items.

  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and cycle count reconciliations, consolidation of materials, and review of inventory reports.

  • Preparing and placing parts and materials requested by the Maintenance Supervisor.

  • Counts and receives incoming parts; reports shortages/overages to vendors / Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner.

  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED and a valid state driver’s license and good driving record.

  • Previous positive work history to include attendance and communication skills.

  • Demonstrable mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to operator minor equipment, such as a forklift or skid steer loader.

  • Must be able to sit, stand, push, pull and drive, lift and carry to 50lbs and pass pre-employment screening.

  • Understand and carry out written or verbal instructions.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
